Lowestoft handed tough cup clash

Lowestoft Town director of football Craig Fleming feels his side have been handed a difficult draw in the FA Trophy first round proper after landing an away fixture at Salisbury City.

The Trawlerboys tasted victory on the travels last Saturday as Jamie Forshaw came off the bench to grab a brace to overcome Harlow 2-1.

Fleming believes the Blues will have to carry their away form into the match if they have any chance on December 10.

"It’s a difficult draw – we would obviously prefer to play at home," he said. "Both sides would have probably preferred a different draw but that’s how it is. But it’s a game that I think both sides will think they have a chance of winning.

"We are on a terrific run of form and if we can carry that on then they are going to be in for a tough game."
