Robins snap up Davies
Bristol City have completed the signing of Derby County striker Steven Davies for an undisclosed fee, rumoured to be in the region of £750,000.
The 24-year-old signed a three-year contract at Ashton Gate, following a successful medical this morning.
He will wear the number 16 shirt and is expected to feature on Tuesday night for the game at home to Crystal Palace.
Ipswich Town were also keen on signing Davies, but were reportedly outbid by City, a side many bookies have predicted as favourites for the drop this season.
The move signals the end of a four-year stay at Pride Park for the striker, who signed for the Rams from Tranmere in 2008.
