Warnock blasts defender for "stupid" tackle
Leeds United's manager Neil Warnock has criticised defender Tom Lees for the "stupid" tackle that prompted a red card in the Yorkshire side's 3-0 defeat against Ipswich.
The England Under 21 star was shown a straight red for a high tackle on Jay Tabb after 32 minutes.
David McGoldrick scored a goal in each half and substitute Jay Emmanuel-Thomas added a third goal to rub salt into Leeds' wounds.
Leeds started well but the game changed when Lees was sent off.
The win saw Ipswich four points clear of the relegation zone with seven games remaining, just three points below 11th-placed Leeds.
'Let everyone down'
Warnock says Lees "let everyone down" and felt that Leeds could have gone on to win the game with 11 men.
"We've got one lad who's let everyone down. He's let me down, the team down and the fans who travelled here," said the Leeds boss. "It was one stupid moment.
"I don't know what else I can say, other than it was a ridiculous tackle."
Warnock added: "It's difficult doing a press conference when you think you should have won three or 4-0 and you've lost 3-0.
"It's a crazy day and I can't believe we haven't won.
"We were dominating. I've never been to Ipswich and dominated as much as that in my life."
