Drogba the hero as Chelsea win Champions League
Didier Drogba was Chelsea's hero - in what could be his last game for the club - as the Blues won the Champions League for the first time.
Thomas Muller gave Bayern the lead with seven minutes remaining, but Drogba equalised with a superb near post header from Juan Mata's corner with just two minutes remaining.
Drogba was the villain five minutes into stoppage time as he clipped Franck Ribery's ankle from behind, but Petr Cech saved former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben's penalty.
Bayern were 2-0 and 3-1 ahead in the penalty shoot out, but Cech saved Ivica Olic's spot-kick and Ashley Cole levelled the shoot out to make it 3-3 with one penalty each remaining.
Bastian Schweinsteiger's penalty hit the post and it was left to Drogba to slot in the trophy-winning spot kick.
