Head women's soccer coach required

A four-year fixed term appointment serving as Head Women's Soccer Coach in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning, developing and administering all phases of the women’s soccer program; budget administration; scheduling team travel; recruiting and selecting athletes; allocating athletic grant-in-aid awards; monitoring academic progress; fundraising, promotion and marketing, special projects and clinics, conditioning and training of student-athletes and a commitment to the responsibility for adherence to all rules and regulations of the University, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and the NCAA.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Minimum of three (3) years soccer coaching experience at the NCAA Division II intercollegiate level or higher, with at least two years of experience in a salaried position managing all facets of a successful women’s soccer program.

Commitment to a responsibility of adhering to all policies, rules and regulations of the University, Mankato, the NCAA and NSIC.

NCAA Division II or NCAA Division I recruiting experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree.

National C License or equivalent (NSCAA National).

Playing and/or coaching experience at the NCAA Division II or NCAA Division I level, or professionally.

Demonstrated experience in coordinating the packaging of athletic grant-in-aid offers.

Established recruitment networks at the high school, college, and club level within the upper Midwest.

Previous head soccer coaching experience at the club or high school level, or coaching experience with an ODP team at the state, regional, or national level.

Previous experience with modern exercise science practice and related technologies.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to influence and build positive relationships among diverse individuals, including student-athletes, parents, coaches, media, University faculty, staff/ and students, along with the general public.

Experience motivating highly talented student-athletes to succeed in a challenging academic environment.

Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
