Premier League clubs enter fray in round two draw

The second round draw of the Capital One Cup has taken place, with the pick of the ties, seeing Premier League Fulham travel to Hillsborough to play Sheffield Wednesday.

Wednesday produced the comeback of round one, storming back from 2-0 down to beat Oldham 4-2 on Monday.

Northampton Town’s reward for knocking out last season’s finalists Cardiff City is another home tie with Championship side Wolves.

After coming out on top in their incredible 5-5 draw with Derby via a penalty shootout, Scunthorpe United will be on their travels again, this time to Norwich City.

The highest ranked Premier League side that enters this stage is Everton. David Moyes’s team have been given a home draw, against the conquerors of Charlton Athletic, Leyton Orient.
