Neville brothers' father arrested on suspicion of indecent assault
Neville Neville, the father of former England and Manchester United defenders Gary and Phil Neville, has been arrested on suspicion of indecent assault.
In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said officers are investigating a sexual assault in the early hours of Saturday in Bury.
A 63-year-old Bury man was arrested on suspicion of indecent assault and bailed until May, pending further inquiries.
Neville is a former league cricketer and is also the father of former England netball player Tracey Neville - Gary's twin sister.
He is married to Jill Neville, the general manager and club secretary at Bury, and is the agent for his two sons. After Euro 2004, Neville arranged new contracts for his sons with Manchester United.
Neville is a former director of Bury. He was the vice-chairman of the Save our Shakers appeal, which was set up to give financial assistance to the struggling club after it had gone into administration.
