Super Cup: Possible Chelsea starting 11 v Atletico Madrid
Friday, August 31
Kick-off 7.45pm (BST)
Stade Louis II stadium, Monaco
Chelsea are without John Terry for Friday's Super Cup match against Atletico Madrid.
The defender has returned to training after sustaining a neck injury in the 4-2 win against Reading. He missed Saturday's win over Newcastle.
But the Blues captain is still serving a European ban following his red card in the second leg of last season's Champions League semi-final against Barcelona.
Chelsea have no new injury concerns, but Marko Marin is expected to miss out again with a hamstring problem.
David Luiz is expected to partner Gary Cahill in the centre of Chelsea's defence after recovering from a head injury he sustained in the win against Newcastle.
Frank Lampard is set to replace Raul Meireles after sitting out the game against Newcastle.
Eden Hazard is likely to continue as part of an attacking quartet with Juan Mata, Ryan Bertrand and lone striker Fernando Torres.
New signings Victor Moses and Cesar Azpilicueta are expected to be named on the subs bench.
Possible Chelsea starting line-up: Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Cole, Lampard, Mikel, Mata, Hazard, Bertrand, Torres.
