Spain take over as Group I leaders
Spain took over as Group I leaders with a 1-0 victory against World Cup qualifying rivals France.
Pedro's scrappy goal means Spain are a point clear of France with three group games remaining.
Spain had slipped two points behind their main Group I rivals after two successive draws, with Finland holding on for a point and France beating Georgia 3-1 on Friday to overtake the 2010 World Cup winners and claim top spot.
Pedro was left unmarked as he struck in the 58th minute following Nacho Monreal's cross.
Former Manchester midfielder Paul Pogba was sent off after being shown two yellow cards in as many minutes. Referee Viktor Kassai had booked Pogba in the 76th minute, then showed a second yellow in quick succession after Pogba's challenge on Xavi.
Spain are top with 11 points, France are second on 10 points, and Georgia are six points adrift of France in third place in Group I.
