Championship fixtures

Friday night’s Southampton v Reading clash was not quite a title decider – but the Royals' 3-1 win puts them in pole position, and the Saints are still likely to secure an automatic promotion spot.

The Hammers face a tough test at home to promotion hopefuls Brighton on Saturday – so, if the Hammers lose against Brighton, the league leaders will then only need a single point from their last three games to make absolutely sure of their place in the Premier League next season.

The top three are all in action on Tuesday – with Southampton travelling to Peterborough, Reading entertaining Nottingham Forest and West Ham visiting Bristol City.
