Derby want Liverpool full back Jack Robinson on loan

Derby manager Nigel Clough is set to raid his former club Liverpool for promising young defender Jack Robinson, 18.

Robinson, who became the youngest ever first team player for Liverpool when he came on against Hull as a 16-year-old in 2010, has played twice in the Carling Cup this season.

"He is a lad who we have had on our list all season just as cover in the left back position," said Clough.

"We make a list of possible loans and if anything happens to Gareth Roberts the list is there to tell us where we can go and get a loan straight away, and Jack Robinson fits into that category."
