Swindon snap up keeper

Swindon Town have completed their second loan signing in as many days after snapping up Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wes Foderingham until January.

The 20-year-old stopper, who signed for Palace in August 2010 from Fulham, has been drafted in as cover for the injured Paul Smith, who is out for a month with a hernia problem.

Swindon manager Paolo Di Canio told BBC Radio Wiltshire: “I like him as a goalkeeper. I spoke to him and he's excited to sign for us. I want him to accept the challenge with Mattia Lanzano and Phil Smith.”

This news comes a day after the Robins secured the signing of 19-year-old Colombian forward Christian Montano from West Ham on a one-month loan deal.
